This Product Privacy Notice explains how Slides from Photos, operated by DZS Infinity LLC under the DZS Labs brand, handles information in connection with the Slides from Photos ChatGPT Plugin.

This notice supplements the general DZS Labs Privacy Policy available at:

If this Product Privacy Notice provides more specific information about the Slides from Photos ChatGPT Plugin than the general DZS Labs Privacy Policy, this Product Privacy Notice applies to the ChatGPT Plugin.

1. About the Slides from Photos ChatGPT Plugin

The Slides from Photos ChatGPT Plugin provides workflow guidance for users who want to turn batches of photos into Google Slides, typically with one photo per slide.

The Plugin may provide guidance about topics such as:

choosing a photo source;
planning large photo imports;
Google Photos, Google Drive, or computer-upload workflows;
Filename or Date ordering;
Fit versus Fill image placement;
per-execution limits;
multi-execution planning; and
completion and verification workflows.

The ChatGPT Plugin does not itself perform the photo import.

Actual photo selection and slide creation take place in the separate Slides from Photos Google Slides add-on.

2. No Direct Access to Google Accounts or User Files

The Slides from Photos ChatGPT Plugin does not directly access:

your Google Account;
Google Drive;
Google Photos;
Google Slides;
files stored on your computer;
Google OAuth credentials; or
other connected cloud-storage accounts.

The Plugin does not request Google OAuth permissions.

The Plugin also does not independently browse, retrieve, upload, modify, or delete your photos or Google Slides presentations.

If you choose to use the separate Slides from Photos Google Slides add-on, that product has different permissions and data practices described in its own Product Privacy Notice.

3. No DZS Labs Backend for the Plugin

The current Slides from Photos ChatGPT Plugin is a skills-only Plugin.

DZS Labs does not operate a separate backend server, MCP server, account system, or authentication service for the Plugin.

The Plugin does not require:

a DZS Labs account;
account linking;
OAuth authorization;
an API key from the user; or
a direct connection to DZS Labs infrastructure.

Because the Plugin does not use a DZS Labs backend, DZS Labs does not directly receive your ChatGPT conversation content through the Plugin.

4. Information Processed by ChatGPT

When you use the Plugin inside ChatGPT, your prompts, conversation context, and ChatGPT-generated responses are processed within the ChatGPT service.

That processing is provided by OpenAI and is governed by OpenAI's applicable terms, privacy policy, product settings, and data-handling practices.

DZS Labs does not control OpenAI's independent processing of information within ChatGPT.

Users should review OpenAI's privacy and data-control information for details about how ChatGPT handles conversation data.

5. Information Provided to the Plugin

The Plugin may use information already present in the ChatGPT conversation to provide relevant workflow guidance.

For example, you may voluntarily tell ChatGPT:

how many photos you have;
whether the photos are in Google Photos, Google Drive, or on your computer;
whether you prefer Filename or Date ordering;
whether you prefer Fit or Fill placement; or
what kind of Slides workflow you are planning.

This information is used within the ChatGPT experience to generate workflow guidance.

The current Plugin does not transmit that information to a DZS Labs-operated backend.

6. Links to the Slides from Photos Google Slides Add-on

The Plugin may provide a link to the Slides from Photos Google Workspace Marketplace listing when relevant to the user's request.

Following such a link leaves the ChatGPT Plugin workflow and may take you to a third-party service such as Google Workspace Marketplace.

If you install or use the Slides from Photos Google Slides add-on, the add-on's own Product Privacy Notice applies to its access to Google services, selected photos, Slides content, permissions, processing state, and other product-specific data practices.

7. Data Storage and Retention by DZS Labs

The current ChatGPT Plugin does not operate a DZS Labs backend and does not create a separate DZS Labs user account.

Accordingly, DZS Labs does not intentionally store ChatGPT conversation content through the Plugin on DZS Labs-operated infrastructure.

Any information retained by OpenAI as part of your use of ChatGPT is subject to OpenAI's own retention practices and user controls.

If the Plugin's architecture changes in the future to introduce a backend, account system, external API, authentication, or other DZS Labs-operated processing, this notice will be updated before those practices apply.

9. Analytics and Diagnostics

DZS Labs does not currently operate product-specific analytics or diagnostic collection through a separate backend for the ChatGPT Plugin.

OpenAI may provide platform-level information, statistics, or service functionality according to its own policies and product terms.

If DZS Labs later introduces product-specific analytics or diagnostics for the Plugin, this notice will be updated to describe those practices.

10. Security

The Plugin is designed to minimize data access by providing guidance without requiring direct access to Google accounts, photos, files, or Slides presentations.

DZS Labs uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the systems it operates.

However, no electronic system or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children

The Slides from Photos ChatGPT Plugin is a productivity tool and is not designed to independently collect personal information from children.

Use of ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI's applicable age requirements, terms, and policies.

12. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Product Privacy Notice if:

the Plugin's functionality changes;
a backend or external service is introduced;
authentication or account linking is added;
data-handling practices change;
OpenAI platform requirements change; or
applicable legal requirements change.

If a material change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law or platform requirements, we will provide that notice or obtain consent as required.
